This reset is a 7-day e-book program that I take my private clients through which will allow your body a break to focus on what it is wired to do – to be and stay optimal.

This has been a long-time requested guide by my readers for several reasons:

During this one-week program, you’ll clear potentially irritating foods out of your system while you introduce nourishing foods and nutritional boosters. The duration is just enough to get you started and connected to your gut.

Words are powerful so I’m purposely calling this a reset (versus a detox or cleanse) because I have strong feelings about a lot of the programs being marketed in this space with those labels. There’s a psychological benefit to calling this a reset instead of a cleanse or detox.

A reset is a course correction.

We’re (you and I) giving your body a prime environment to do what it’s meant to do.

Some programs may focus on just removal for long periods with limited thought given to the inclusion of certain foods/supplements that set you up properly for what’s next. It’s no wonder that some people find themselves confused and/or constantly feeling like they have to do things like this over and over without stopping to think about why.

Yes, in this reset there will be major elimination. But the specific recipes I’m providing have a rhyme and reason for how your body is going to utilize the nutrients and fats to “turn the lights on” in your body after the initial broth fast.

While a full (longer-duration – think weeks or months versus 7 days) gut repair protocol is more intensive and goes on for much longer than a week, they can be daunting as an entry point so I’ve designed this reset to get you started – making it easy for you to follow in your own home and reap benefits before you go to what’s next for your gut.

Again, this is a RESET, not a magic bullet, more on what to expect, and who should vs shouldn’t do this program below.



Almost 80-90% of my clients have some sort of gut imbalance when we start working together, no matter how healthy their diet may be.

There are many things that disrupt the balance of your gut, so many that even I experience periods of imbalance due to any one of the following reasons:

  • Poor-quality oils (especially when you’re eating out)

  • Regular alcohol consumption
  • Malnutrition (you’re eating one thing that is causing damage to the point where your body can’t effectively absorb/process nutrients from the good choices you’re making)


  • Stress (hello, 2020 and beyond)
  • Medications (antibiotics can wreck us as much as they can help us)
  • Environmental toxins
  • Dehydration
  • Lack of sleep
  • Over-exercising (have you heard of athletic-related leaky gut?)

    The short answer is almost anyone, especially if you are experiencing any of the symptoms listed above. Below are some more examples of who can benefit from this program but also check out the section further down on who shouldn’t do this reset as well.

    • Are you approaching changing your diet for the first time? Consider this your pre-game week before you start going paleo, keto, primal, AIP, 21-Day Sugar Detox, Whole30, or just eating healthier in general.

    • Are you already a healthy and active person and want to optimize even more?

    This reset can help you, well, reset. Again, I will hammer this point home that this is NOT a cure-all program. It is a course correction.


    While I have applied this reset to all of my clients and have had this reviewed and utilized by doctors alike, if you have hesitation or concerns, you should consult with your doctor before diving into any programs, not just my reset. Below are some callouts on who shouldn’t do this program.

    • If you are pregnant or nursing.
    • If you have or have had challenges with Eating Disorders.
    • If you have Histamine Intolerance (bone broth and other ingredients here can trigger that response and you’ll want to curb that first).
    • If you have type 1 diabetes, other health problems due to diabetes, or have had hypoglycemia fasting is not recommended (please consult with your doctor).
    • If you are using this as a fast weight-loss program.
    • If you are vegan. The first 3 days are bone broth only and there is liver on days 4-7 which makes this definitely not a vegan reset.  Not to say there isn’t still valuable information in this program and a way to do this plant-based by using veggie stock with the jute’s mallow in lieu of bone broth as days 4-7 are mostly plants but I don’t want to mislead you and will let that decision be a personal one as I cannot fully endorse this as a great fit for a vegan lifestyle.

    Real Talk, What To Expect

    During the core 7-Day Gut Reset, I want you to know that it isn’t a walk in the park so it is important to me that you are very aware of what you’re signing up for before you make this purchase.

    Day 1-3 is a broth-only experience so you need to have time and space to rest! You may experience headaches (especially if you normally drink coffee), fatigue, digestion/stool changes, skin changes, and other symptoms that are all normal when doing an elimination and fasting-mimicking protocol.

    Day 4-7 is a repeat of the same foods (scroll down further to see those) for breakfast, lunch, and dinner while still following a calorie-restricted program. While you’ll feel more energetic you still need to rest, limiting movement to walking and stretching, and you will continue to track all the ways your body is responding to the reintroduction of these foods.

    After Day 7, I’ll give you recommendations on what to do next as well as provide a sample 5-Day Meal Plan (paleo) but there’s more on what to do next inside the ebook + the additional bonus recipes.
